Data & Software
In the course of doing their work, agencies and organizations fighting violence and exploitation collect lots of data. Yet the time and energy devoted to data collection can seem misspent because too often data is underused. We provide empirically-grounded consulting and expertise on issues related to trafficking, domestic violence and sexual violence.
Building Tools to Connect the Dots
We work to make data gathering processes more efficient, to link data to create a holistic picture of the system, and to build tools that make data useful to practitioners. Whether building natural language processing systems that allow us to interpret open-source data, a dashboard to display system-wide data on domestic violence, or frameworks to automatically generate statistics needed for valuable federal grants, HTI Labs builds tools to help connect the dots.
